Graduating from De Montfort University, Leicester with a B.A. (Hons) in Fine Art, Martin's natural talent and enthusiasm has always thrived in the creative realms.

Following his degree, the fascinating world of upholstery drew Martin in and a fifteen year career as a retail manager for an upholstery firm sparked and nurtured what would become a life long passion for furniture and seating design. Particularly enjoying working with leather in the upholstery sector, Martin founded Leather Rescue Ltd in 2007 where his expertise shone in repairing, restoring and transforming leather seating for many happy clients throughout Warwickshire and the West Midlands.

Martin's passion for furniture and seating design found its true home in 2010 when he proudly founded Fenn Lane Designs. He spends his time creating inspirational new seating designs and working with like-minded craftsmen to offer the best of British design here at Fenn Lane.
